On her program this week Rachel Maddow took on disgraced Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich and his insistence that recently uncovered wire taps would not implicate him in any sort of scandal. "Everything I say is lawful," Blagojevich insisted at a press conference earlier this week. Maddow responded to this claim by examining the secretly taped conversations, concluding that Blogoevich's demands for payment in exchange for the Obama Senate appointment and his threats to fire Chicago Tribune writers were probably just a little unlawful.
