  • "Journalists, imprisoned by their attachment to consensus, national narrative, the appearance of objectivity--to say nothing of their ignorance of economics--were more than happy to go along for the ride." Hahahahah! Seriously, if journalists had better math skills they could actually serve as economic watchdogs! I mean this guy, Arthur Laffer, just said, "Here is my economic philosophy, give me some WSJ PR please." Voilà... Republican economics are born. Unbelievable! Oprah was right, we can create our own reality.

"...coupled with a vice president whose life experience makes her more appropriate for a casting session of Desperate Housewives than a cabinet meeting--gives one pause when considering the future of this country, regardless of whether we manage to avoid this catastrophe on election day." Oh how I luvs the low blows! But seriously, when are you gonna write more on Palin? I'm dying to compare and contrast your views with Camille Paglia's.
