Ms. Wypijewski writes about sex and politics the way Cesare Casella prepares Tuscan meals and Nolan Ryan used to throw a fastball. I don't want to miss a single verb.

I'm not in the least disgusted by this piece. All politics, all the time is just plain boring. Sex, however, is not like sports and art. It's a whole lot more fun.

I hope you don't stay on Obama too long. Throw us mature guys a few bones. For instance, I've always had this kinky thing for Maxine Waters, so could you slip some fantasy material my way?

How about Alaska's Sara Palin for McCain's VP? She could do a great job stepping into the President's office, but I would like it better if she stepped in to see my etchings.

This article really is trash and has reminded me again that the only reason I ever read The Nation anymore is for Katha Pollitt's articles. Sexist generalizations about women voting with their vaginas, a non sequitur about JFK "taking a woman against a wall" and a weird assumption that everyone else is as obsessed as the author with speculating about the Obamas' sex lives... you've got something for everyone to dislike here. Throw in a snarky reference to drug addiction just for cheap laughs, and you're done. The funny thing is, the idea of a series focused on sex could have a lot of potential for unique and interesting pieces. Instead, the author just recites conventional wisdom about how we "girls" support Obama only because we think he's hot.

"Legions of little girls jumping out of their panties" at Obama rallies, huh? This would be unsettling as all hell if it were true; however, because the voting age in this country remains at 18, I have a feeling that the writer was observing legions of women allegedly shedding their undergarments.

The contention that the female half of a given candidate's supporters is motivated by something other than the issues is nothing new--in Hillary's case, the desire to see a woman President; in this case, snail trails in their underpants--and i must say that this resonates clearly with my own experiences.

I treat this, as all other elections, as a "hot or not" contest, and cast my ladyvote with my vagina, not with my ladybrain.

Wow! Did I miss The Nation being bought out by some racist right-wing smear rag? This is a disgusting article and a disgusting concept, or else the author has a really warped idea of what a loving marriage is! Karl Rove couldn't have done a nastier bit of lying trash than this.

Just really sick, and Senator Obama and his lovely wife do not deserve such swill. Don't forget they have two young children. But I guess even little kids aren't "off limits" to the right-wing smear machine! John McCain made an ugly joke about poor Chelsea Clinton, who couldn't help it her parents were in the White House and couldn't help it that she was going through an unfortunate really ugly duckling stage. A grown man, McCain, had to make his cruel spirited "joke" about her being related to Janet Reno!

The Repugnants will stoop at nothing to win, even attacking a presidential candidate's wife and children. Shame!
