  • The article itself says that economic growth has greatly expanded since the ANC takeover in 1994. The main problem is that healthy growth is always uneven and takes several decades to accomplish.

    The pattern of American history is that decades of strong growth always increase inequality. Trailing sectors do catch up, but often around twenty years later. While there may be a severe political problem, there is not likely to be any real economic crisis.
