The article presents information about four books "My Uncle Benjamin," by Claude Tillier, "The Three-Cornered Hat," by Pedro A. de Alarcon, "Tarr," by Wyndham Lewis. American publishers have been doing a pretty service to the cause of intenational understanding by publishing graceful little masterpieces of humor like Claude Tilliers "My Uncle Benjamin," and "The Three-Cornered Hat," by Pedro de Alarcon. "My Uncle Benjamin," like "Tristram Shandy," is a man's books, with its reckless boyish high spirits and its boyish sentiment as well.
